Motorcycle Travel Insurance

As motorbike insurance specialists, we have worked with our partners at TDA Services to develop a range of insurance products for bike enthusiasts on road, track or dirt:

  • Motorbike Touring Travel Insurance - Whether riding your own bike in the EU or maybe hiring a bike for Route 66 you will need a travel insurance policy that allows you to ride a proper motorbike abroad with proper cover in place (many restrict cover to mopeds and scooters only). Up to £10m to cover your emergency medical and repatriation costs in the event of an accident on the road or if riding off-road Charlie Boorman style on an adventure bike, plus many of the usual travel insurance benefits like cancellation cover.
  • Track Day Repat Insurance - If you've escalated your hobby from UK track days to full on Euro track day trips then this 'top up' cover is for you. Not only does it cover you for up to £250k emergency medical and repatriation costs for injuries incurred on an overseas circuit (you can even add amateur racing cover), it also has optional cover for a contribution towards your damaged leathers and riding gear too!
  • Dirt Bike Repat Insurance - If you like to get dirty on closed tracks in Europe, then you will need 'top up' insurance that covers you for what many travel insurance policies consider to be 'dangerous sports' (many exclude things like motocross). You can even add cover for motocross racing, as well as enduro and trials events, grass track and so on (if you're just riding a motorbike off-road then you need Touring Cover instead).

Note: 'Repat Insurance' only covers you for accidents whilst on a closed track in Europe and acts as a 'top up' to normal travel insurance (travel insurance covers lots of other stuff like cancellation cover and if you get sick abroad, but typically excludes accidents on track as they consider it a "dangerous sport", so you typically need both).
