BeMoto are proud to announce their continued support of Davey Todd in his 2023 British Superbike Championship and road racing campaigns, including the prestigious Isle of Man TT. The reigning 2022 National Superstock Champion, and his team, Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda, confirmed their progression to the prestigious British Superbike Championship class back in December.
Speaking with Davey in the warm-up to Silvertsone opener he said “I’m over the moon to be with the Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda team. Davey spoke about the preparation and vibe in the paddock “Clive (Padgetts) is excited, it means a lot for them to be back in BSB, the team as a whole are thrilled and I’m really proud to be a part of the team and lucky to have the support that I have within the team, and from my sponsors such as BeMoto.”
“I’ve been through a lot of testing, adjusting the bike, mental and physical preparation for the series. You do as much preparation as you humanly can, you get to a point where you think you know everything you can, you are as prepared as you can be, but the reality is, you know nothing until the racing begins.”
Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles is a highly respected motorcycle racing team with a rich history of success. The team have an outstanding pedigree with some of the names they have enjoyed success with over the years. The 2023 season marks 10 years since they last competed in BSB and it is fair to say that excitement is the dominant emotion in the paddock.
Regarded as one of the most promising talents in the UK's motorcycle racing scene, Todd had an outstanding 2022 campaign, clinching the National Superstock Championship on the Honda CBR1000RR-R. Securing his first win of the season during Round 13 at Snetterton, Todd then went on to win three more races, overtaking Billy McConnell to claim the championship.
In addition to his success on the circuits, Todd also had a notable performance on the roads. He achieved his maiden podium finish at the Isle of Man TT in the Superstock class and finished fourth in the Senior TT. He also won races at the Southern 100 and Armoy road races, and scored podiums at the North West 200 and points in the BSB class at the season-ending Brands Hatch round.
