Readers Post: My Suzuki RGV 250 VJ22

I went from getting a quirky YZR 80 (one I wanted after a boy rocked up one one when I was 16) to finding this 1994 Suzuki RGV 250 VJ22 only a 5 minute drive away...

The guy was getting rid as he was trying to get his RD350 back together after being in boxes, so didn't have the time.

When I bought the RGV it was running, but 'ruff as' (with Chinese plastics). I sent the bike for a thorough full strip down by Clive at 2 Stroke Innovations in Stafford. Full new top end done and a refurbished crank from The Tuning Works. All bushes and bearings replaced and original plastics painted in team PEPSI colours by Art Attack in Plymouth.

I've just done 500 miles of running-in, but she still needs a little tweaking to get rid of a flat spot - but 8,000 and above fun fun fun.
